Rachael started her dog training journey in 2006 with her first dog, a Border Collie named Emme. Since then, she has spent a large part of her life traveling New England and training in multiple canine sports, including agility, obedience, rally, dock diving, barn hunt, Nosework, and Mondioring. Rachael prides herself on working with dogs as individuals to bring out the best in every dog that she works with. Bringing harmony to a home through clear communication, reliable training, and fulfilling enrichment is her passion in life. She prioritizes creating long-lasting behavior change through humane, consistent training techniques that make sense to dogs and their humans.

The number one thing that sets Intrepid Dog Training apart from other trainers and boarding facilities is the focus on exercise and enrichment that every dog gets every day. While here your pet’s day will be filled with hiking, play groups, walks through town, off leash exercise in secure pastures, and so much more. Happy, well-exercised dogs are able to learn more new behaviors at a faster rate and they have so much more fun during the process. We are extremely lucky to be situated on a 16 acre working horse farm that offers lots of space for your dog to run, play, and learn. The farm hosts an untold number of distractions that are vital for ensuring that your dog can perform the obedience skills they learn during their stay in any environment. Training dogs regularly spend time working around horses, chickens, dogs, novel people, and so much more.
