Rachael started her dog training journey in 2006 with her first dog, a Border Collie named Emme. Since then, she has spent a large part of her life traveling New England and training in multiple canine sports, including agility, obedience, rally, dock diving, barn hunt, Nosework, and Mondioring. Rachael has spent all of her free time since childhood practicing and honing her skills with some of the best professional trainers that New England has to offer. She has competed in multiple nationals for agility and rally obedience, and found success with dogs of wildly different personalities and backgrounds. Her various competition dogs have taught her to meet a dog where they are at and push them to be the best they can be.

In 2017, Rachael started her professional career at her local humane society while pursuing a bachelor's degree in Pre-Veterinary sciences at the University of Massachusetts - Amherst. Her time at the shelter taught her to treat each dog as an individual while prioritizing training that improves a dog’s mental and physical well being. While working with owners she strives to implement a compassion-centered plan that works for families with busy lifestyles. She enjoys watching fearful, reactive, or over-aroused dogs blossom with time, training, and boundaries.

After spending many years as a positive reinforcement only trainer, Rachael now appreciates and integrates the fineness that comes with balanced training. As an avid hiker, she understands the freedom and safety that a properly used remote collar can provide. She takes great pride in helping other owners experience the joy of off-leash hiking with their own furry friends.

In 2023 Rachael began training pet dogs full time with an emphasis on boarding and training out of her home. Her unique approach of emphasising enrichment and exercise to help bring a dog out of their shell while teaching them the skills they will need to conquer every day life ensures every dog goes home more capable and robust. Her thoughtful approach to training and owner support after every dog goes home helps ensure that the investment you make in your dogs training will stick once they are back home.
