What vaccines do you require? All pups need to be up to date on their Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines. I also recommend vaccinating against lyme and lepto as most campers spend a great deal of time out in nature.
What should I send for my dog’s stay? Please send your dog with an appropriate amount of food to last their entire stay, a variety of small treats, a few chews they enjoy, and a bed for their crate if they aren’t prone to chewing soft items. I will provide them with their own crate, food and water bowls, and plenty of fun toys to play with!
Will I get updates while you’re watching my dog? Absolutely! Campers that are here for board and train programs receive google photo albums that are updated with fun photos and videos of what their pup is learning as well as twice weekly email updates going over what their dog has been learning during the week. Campers that are here for boarding receive a google photo album to view pictures and videos of their pup having fun as well!
Why should I invest in a board and train for my dog? Board and train programs are the perfect way to jump start your dogs learning! It is the fastest, easiest way to ensure your dog has a fantastic repertoire of skills that will make your life easier and their life more fulfilling. Board and train programs also come with additional lessons to help you transfer your dogs skills to their own home.
What does an average day look like?
Every day is a little different here at Intrepid Dog Training to help your dog “go with the flow” rather than being stuck in a rigid routine. Each day is filled with training, exercise, and enrichment sessions that are catered to your dog’s needs. Dogs that are early on in their program typically spend more time learning baseline skills at the farm while adapting to their new surroundings. As soon as dogs have learned some key behaviors we start going on field trips around town, visits to busy stores, adventures out in the woods and playgroups with friends!
